At Luv Braces in Austin and Bee Cave, we believe that your first orthodontic visit will be your most important appointment. We can’t wait to meet you at your first orthodontic visit to Luv Braces.
During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient’s orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve.
Don’t Worry
Some people feel anxious about their first visit to a doctor’s office, especially kids. But, your first visit to Luv Braces will be completely painless.
Your first orthodontic visit is totally free. We’ll do an examination and discuss your potential treatment options. This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the best time for you to begin treatment.
At your first free consultation, you’ll be welcomed by our Luv Braces team, introduced to expert orthodontists Dr. Tahbaz and Dr. Rezapour, and shown around our office.
Our highly-trained, friendly orthodontic treatment coordinator will take some digital pictures of your teeth. These photos are the best way for Dr. Tahbaz or Dr. Rezapour to see your teeth, jaws, and facial soft tissue.
With our iTero Element Scanner, we can capture a digital 3D model of your teeth and gums. Not only is this process far more comfortable than the goopy old putty-based impressions, but it’s faster, too!

Creating Your Custom Smile Plan
After reviewing your records, Dr. Tahbaz and Dr. Rezapour will join you in a private consultation room to discuss your individualized and unique treatment plan.
Dr. Tahbaz and Dr. Rezapour will point out specific areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing photos and videos of similar cases.
Dr. Tahbaz and Dr. Rezapour will take as much time as you need to answer your questions and decide what kind of treatment is best for you. Dr. Tahbaz, and Dr. Rezapour and their assistant will then walk you through the process.
They’ll explain it all to you—from the appointment schedule to expected discomfort levels, to cost and payment options.
Start Your Treatment the Same Day
Your braces or Invisalign treatment will take several visits to our office in Austin or Bee Cave. You should be confident that you’re getting the best orthodontic care because we value the relationship that we’ll build with you and your family.
Before braces we can place your braces, you must visit a dentist for an exam and have any necessary fillings. You still need to see your dentist every six months for a thorough exam and cleaning.
Please brush your teeth before each orthodontic appointment, patients are encouraged to brush their teeth. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided in the office.
Once you feel like Dr. Tahbaz or Dr. Rezapour answers all of your questions and concerns, you or your child can start your treatment that same day. Your time is really important to you, and we know you want to make the most of your visit to Luv Braces.
Treatment Time
Your treatment time at Luv Braces may last from 18 to 30 months, though this will depend on your unique case. Your appointments are typically scheduled from four to eight weeks apart.
We need your help to keep your scheduled orthodontic appointments, maintain proper hygiene and caring for your braces. This may allow you to finish your orthodontic treatment early.
Communication
We encourage all of our patients to ask questions about their orthodontic treatment at Luv Braces.
At your first visit, Dr. Tahbaz or Dr. Rezapour will inform you and/or your child about all of the important treatment details. We always welcome parents to be present during each appointment.
